CITZN

We’re building a platform that brings people, socially conscious brands and not-for-profit organisations together to tackle social challenges.

Suggest the First Challenge for CITZN – Win £200

number one

It’ll be a few months yet before the CITZN challenge platform is ready to go but in the mean time we’re keen to get the ball rolling by hosting a number of challenges here on the site and at live CITZN brainstorming sessions. So, in keeping with the crowd sourcing ethos of CITZN we’re asking you to suggest the first challenge that we’ll undertake.

Challenge: Suggest a social challenge that you would like CITZN to tackle
Reward: £200
Closing date: Friday, Feb 3rd
Implementation: CITZN will shortlist submitted ideas and then open it up to public comment. We’ll pick our favourite and the winning suggestion will form the basis of the first official challenge here on CITZN.com and win £200 cash

What we’re looking for: We’re looking for social and environmental challenges that visitors to CITZN.com can suggest solutions to. You could ask visitors to suggest: ways of getting publicity for your social cause, ways to make your city or town better, ideas to limit the environmental impact of a business or activity or the best way to encourage behavioural change. We’re not looking for solutions just yet, just the challenge itself.

How to apply: Start your submission with “I would like to challenge visitors to CITZN.com to suggest ideas to …”. Please include a few lines to provide some background to your challenge and provide links to any additional information. By submitting your challenge you agree that we can publish it online and that our choice of the shortlist and eventual winner is final.

Dear CITZNthis is a champion project! (see what I did there?!) anyway, we would love to get people to suggest ways to draw people to our FEx programme as we roll it out across the island. We are looking at locations in – first Balbriggan – then (in no particular order) we are looking to Galway, Cork, Limerick, Shannon, Kerry, Derry, Belfast, Donegal, Louth, Meath, Kildare, Waterford, Tipperary, Cavan, Sligo, Westmeath, Wicklow, Wexford, Kilkenny, Offaly and monaghan. we have facilitators in most of these locations. we are trying to measure interest among start-up or restructuring businesses in the design and creative sectors. The idea if a Fumbally Exchange was to come to your area would be to facilitate people who are recession afflicted to come together to create collaborative systems that at once underwrite growth and facilitate recovery in regeneration areas. FEx teams will assist in locating the right building, setting up funding mechanisms and facilitating the activities that are core to FEx ethos. We are just looking for ways to measure interest among target participants in these areas?
